APPROACH & PRINCIPLES

Dolomites, Italy

“It’s about how the day feels in your body, and what stays with you long after you leave the mountains.”

What guides the way I work, plan, and hold space for your elopement or special occasion

An elopement, to me, is about honoring people’s individual quirks, personalities, and interests.

Eloping means rewriting clichés, choosing yourselves, and honoring that choice fully — in an emotional, breathtaking setting, surrounded by nature.

Ultimately, It’s about how the day feels in your body, and what stays with you long after you leave the mountains.

01. The Dolomites are my home, and my heart

I was born and raised here.
These mountains are my backyard, my roots, my everyday life.
I grew up speaking a language shared by only around 30,000 people, shaped by this culture, these landscapes, and their rhythms. The Dolomites are deeply woven into who I am — not just where I work, but where I belong.

Because of this, I care deeply about how we move through them.
I love sharing this place with people who are curious, respectful, and open to experiencing it fully — beyond what can be seen in a photo. While offering a genuine encounter with it: the nature, the culture, the food, the stories, and the quiet moments in between.

02. A sense of place, beyond the view

What matters most to me is how your elopement feels.

The Dolomites offer endless possibilities — from iconic views to quieter corners — and their beauty often lies in how, when, and why a place is experienced. Sometimes that’s a well-known location at the right moment. At other times, it’s a spot that feels more intimate, tucked away, and entirely your own.

That’s why I love shaping elopements around that feeling: choosing locations and timings that invite presence, connection, and ease. Moreover, when a place is experienced slowly, it becomes more than a backdrop — it becomes part of the memory you’ll carry with you.

03. Slowness, presence & emotional space

Some moments deserve to be fully and quietly lived.
Especially right after a ceremony, a proposal or after something life-changing happens.

During the most emotionally charged parts of the day, I intentionally slow things down. I step back and give you time to talk, to feel, and to realize what just happened — without rushing you into the next plan or the next photo.

After all, if you decide to elope or get engaged in the Dolomites, you deserve the time to actually be here, together.

04. Privacy is my love language

Intimacy needs a safe space.

I’m very mindful about choosing locations and timings that allow you to experience your day without feeling watched or interrupted. And when needed, I actively step in to protect your privacy — whether that means creating a bit more space from others and gently setting boundaries when moments need to stay yours.

Just because you’re dressed up doesn’t mean your moment belongs to anyone else.
Your elopement is not a public performance. It’s something personal, and I treat it that way.

05. Guided trust, without decision overload

The Dolomites offer an incredible variety of locations, and knowing where to go — and when — makes all the difference.
That’s why I don’t hand out the same location list to everyone. Instead, I take the time to understand what matters to you first: your pace, your interests, your comfort level, your idea of a meaningful day.

From there, I guide you and curate, helping everything fall into place.
This process asks for a bit of trust — and in return, it gives you a day that actually fits you, rather than one built from guesses or trends.

06. Respect for nature, culture & limits

Being in the mountains means moving with awareness and care.

For that reason, I follow safety regulations, respect protected areas, private land, wildlife, and seasonal limits — always. These guidelines don’t take away from the experience, instead they help preserve what makes it special.

The same goes for culture. I belong to this place, therefore I’ll introduce you to it thoughtfully. The Dolomites and their villages are living places, shaped by people, history, and everyday life. Sharing them responsibly means helping them remain just as meaningful for those who come after.

07. Freedom from wedding rules & clichés

There are many ways to love, commit, and celebrate.

Because of that, I welcome LGBTQ+ couples, non-monogamous relationships, as well as anyone who doesn’t see themselves reflected in traditional wedding and elopement narratives. Ceremonies, outfits, or elopements don’t need to look a certain way to be meaningful. Instead, I think that the more you bring your own ideas into the day, the more it will truly reflect you.

And finally: you don’t need to be a mountaineer or to be adventurous in a stereotypical way. And neither need to follow anyone else’s script. You get to invent what feels right for you.

08. A day that feels like fun on your own terms

At the end of the day, what matters most to me is that you feel seen, relaxed, and free to be yourselves.

I show up as a local, a friend, a co-director of the day — and also as a human who cares. I love sharing local stories, explaining place names, creating inside jokes, and building a connection that makes the day feel lighter, rather than like a content creation day.

Therefore, if this way of moving through the mountains resonates with you, we’ll probably work beautifully together.
